Hailing from Aotearoa, Tessa Moxey is an illustrator and artist whose work is expressive, energetic and filled with enigmatic use of colour. She moves freely between being a strong visual communicator with her illustration work to creating artworks and jewellery that utilize found and recycled materials. Her work is unabashedly silly, full of humour, poking fun at her own memories as well as people she sees in her everyday life.

At university she studied Illustration but always intended to live in Japan. After five years of living in working in Japan she now blends her twin passions of education and art into her role as a secondary school educator.
